Awesome! The burpees added an extra layer for sure, but a fun run at any rate!
Love the Battlemiles!!!
Awesome experience...! Hungry for more..!

This is the second race the I have done in the Classic series. After the 2Miler I thought this one would be cakewalk, nope it was not. the first 2 mile and burpees were ok, but after that it started to get hard, maybe due to the heat were I live. I love the fact that these races are hard, it helps to keep the challenge going and in setting the goal to get up and get it done. I am on to the next race now. Battle on.
Challenging and fun battle miles looking forward to next battle miles
Both 2 milers and both 5 milers down in the books. Great races to do and I am having a blast doing them. Next are the 10 milers. Cant wait!!!
Definitely a challenge. But loving the series. Going for the 10 Miler to finish the classic. Thanks Battle Miles!
Great first BattleMiles run!
I run as many races as possible. Every year. Virtual races are new to me. I found battle miles through pure luck and have been running race after race ever since. Feels like I got a new racing home.
I’m a cyclist & a spin instructor who was lost without her classes...and along came Battle Miles! The races are challenging, the reward encouraging and it kept me engaged, moving and hustling for that next endorphin high!
I love Battle Miles. Totally epic. I’m a trail runner and I love the dual challenge of both the burpees / body weight exercises every mile; and the knowledge that I’m racing against all the other Battle Miles competitors around the world, vying for that gold crown every month. Even though it's a virtual race, there's nothing virtual about sweating it out on the gritty trail in the sun, the dirt and the snow. Battle Miles gives me that race-day feeling that gets me fired up and keeps me motivated to train hard. Up next: 10-miler this weekend and DownFall the weekend after that!
I've been a long distance runner since the early 1990's and always trained for my races with strategy and purpose. This was, arguably, the most fun I've had on a virtual race or training run. I definitely learned about what I was capable of and it also gave me insight into how I can alter my training. AND (as most of us runners tend to like some form of abuse or punishment) it felt good getting back to my car with rubbery legs and some mild oxygen deficit. Just signed up for 2 more races! I'd place this race experience up there with some of the Ragnar events. A really great event.
Can’t wait to finish the series
Great race, great challenge. Ordered another one and can’t wait
Love the additional challenge of the burpees after each mile.
Battle Miles was a fun and different way to get active, it was a good way to do something challenging with my dad, son and brother even though we don’t live in the same town. I highly recommend Battle Miles and look forward to trying a few of the other challenges!
Love the battle miles challenges! Great workout and fun to do. Even brought the kids along for the 2 mile one!
This was an amazing experience! With OCR season on hold this is a great way to keep you training and on point in the meantime. I plan on doing more in the future.
This was a very challenging run, but so much fun. Now on to the 10 Miler
I really liked the experience! It's hard to find virtual races that present a real challenge, but Battle Miles are harder than you'd expect and great way to keep your fitness at a high level. Plus, knowing that someone is going to be out there trying to beat you gives you the motivation put up a fast time. I'll be recommending to all my OCR friends.
Love the challenge
Very challenging but rewarding great way to condition!
Very challenging and rewarding
I was surprised how challenging this was especially learning I was competiting against other people. This is very cool and highly recommend for anyone that wants a challenge with competition.
Great challenge that I can take and complete anywhere I want, when I want, multiple times each month! Highly recommend!
From dream to reality
This brought to live a simple dream of being able to compete with any one anywhere in the world at anytime! The 5 miler was the perfect test of endurance and fitness. Races like this are what athletes would love to have more of for off seasons and enjoyable training events to see how they stack up against the competition. I can’t wait to tackle more of these races and encourage everyone who is thinking about trying this to go for it. I promise these races will bring you great reward and success!!!
