RECOMMENDED WEIGHTS: This vest is designed to support a pair of steel plates from W10.5 x H11 inches. We recommend a pair of 8.75lb weight plates which will make this vests total weight 20lbs.

This is my third vest I have tried for running and training for the Battle Miles Challenges. It is by far my favorite. I am using it with a curved weight vest plate in the front and a 10lb barbell plate in the rear. This has been the perfect set up for both running and doing burpees. It sits well and doesn't bounce around when I run so it doesn't beat up the shoulders as much as my other ones. It is also narrow enough at the top for doing burpees with out interfering with your arms in the push-up position. I would Highly recommend.

Bought this vest as a pre-order before they added the free race, noticed before shipment and reached out to support, got a reply and the race added almost immediately after my email. Currently using a pair of 13.75LB Plates from F&F Fitness, 11” tall, 10” wide, .5” thick and the plate carrier keeps them in place, no bouncing and comfortable. Have two Battle Miles races done so far with it and numerous other runs and workouts. Only thing I did notice was that the quick release tab was on the outside of the vest, I actually swapped it from the outside to the inside velcro before using it since my initial concern was that it might pull loose, made sure there was a little slack, has stayed in place nicely without any concerns. Looking forward to many workouts in this vest.
